Coffee and a Show

​It could be 10 a.m. or 4 p.m., but when you're here, you're Irish. And when you're Irish, you have an Irish coffee (or two). A must in San Francisco is one of the famous coffee drinks from the Buena Vista at Fisherman's Wharf. This place is always busy. Just wait for a bar stool to open up and slide on in. San Francisco may be famous for some of the sidewalk shows you'll see at the wharf, but the bartenders at Buena Vista have a few tricks up their sleeve too...If you're lucky, you may just get a magic show here as well.

Teal? Or Turquoise?

I never knew my favorite shade of green until I saw the water in Thailand. And it's a color I've only seen this one time in my life. My eyes completely fell in love with it. We were on a little boat tour to the famous beach from the movie "The Beach" where we were dropped off to explore the island for the afternoon. Every direction you look you are completely taken in, overwhelmed, and in awe. The islands and waters of Thailand sure did get a little extra special attention when they were created.

The Other South Beach

The best bar in South Beach never has a cover, a dress code, or bottle service. And it's tagline is "Where the pretty people go to get ugly." Well, ugly must be the new fun. And maybe that means I'm pretty because I've have had some of the best nights of my life here. I have fallen in love, fallen drunk, and fallen into the depths of the true trailer park girl I am at heart. It has gotten ugly and I have loved every beautiful minute of it. The world is a better place for having Automatic Slims in it.
